According to him, the resolution adopted by the United Nations General Assembly in July of this year following the ninth review of the UN Global Counter-Terrorism Strategy in its 20th anniversary year once again confirms the important role of regional organizations in strengthening multilateral counter-terrorism measures. In this regard, the strategic plan of the UN Counter-Terrorism Office identifies regional organizations as key partners in ensuring coordinated and effective implementation of the strategy.
