Mobile services and foreign audience

National platform for Belarusian content
Dmitry Zhuk stressed that an important advantage of VIDEOBEL. BY is the ability to develop one’s own platform for hosting materials and online broadcasting of domestic TV channels. «This is purely our Belarusian platform, exclusively controlled by us,» he noted.
Commenting on blocked YouTube channels of Belarusian mass media, the minister informed that the Information Ministry is taking care of various matters and scenarios. At the same time, in his words, decisions should be made in a balanced manner, based on expediency and the interests of the Belarusian state and people.
The celebration of the second anniversary took place at the Naif Arts Museum. Guests could meet with hosts of VIDEOBEL. BY projects, take a tour of the museum, and take part in a master class on creating a dream board. The organizers explained the choice of venue by the proximity of ideas: in their own way, the museum and the multimedia portal open up different views on modernity and give an opportunity to present an original vision of the world.
VIDEOBEL. BY was launched on 12 September 2024. The web portal features socio-political and topical materials from Belarusian mass media, regional content, and online broadcasts of TV channels. In the future the project intends to expand capabilities for authors and viewers.
