The head of state also signed a decree appointing Sergei Levkovich as Acting Chairman of the Vitebsk Oblast Executive Committee. Until now he has held the post of the first deputy chairman of the Vitebsk Oblast Executive Committee.

Upon the president’s instruction Head of the Belarus President Administration Dmitry Krutoi met with the oblast executive committee’s core employees on 20 October, introduced the acting head of the oblast administration, and specified the urgent tasks set by the head of state for the region’s development.
