Belarus and Zimbabwe plan to waive visa requirements for diplomatic and service passport holders.

Belarus has seen over 67,500 visa-free visitors from 38 European countries since January 2025, primarily from neighboring Lithuania, Latvia, and Poland. The visa-waiver program is extended until end of 2025.

Following consultations between the staff of the Belarusian Embassy in Egypt and their Omani counterparts, the authorities of the Sultanate of Oman officially confirmed that Belarusian citizens can obtain visas free of charge upon arrival in Oman, BelTA learned from the National Tourism Agency.

About 1.1 million foreigners have visited Belarus over the three years since the launch of the visa-waiver program, BelTA learned from the State Border Committee of Belarus.

Belarus and Colombia have concluded an intergovernmental agreement on the mutual abolition of visas for short-term trips. The document was signed by Belarusian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Yevgeny Shestakov and Ambassador of Colombia to Russia and Belarus (non-resident) Héctor Arenas Neira in Moscow on 9 April, BelTA has learned.
