The economic mechanism in the country should promptly respond to any challenges, adapt and ensure sustainable economic growth, Belarusian Prime Minister Aleksandr Turchin said in an interview to Belarus 1 TV Channel, BelTA has learned.

In January 2025, the real household disposable income of Belarusians rose by 13.8% year-on-year, the National Statistics Committee of Belarus told BelTA.

Inspections should not paralyze the work of business entities, and penalties should not push businesses to bankruptcy, Belarus’ Prime Minister Aleksandr Turchin said at a meeting on inspection activities, BelTA has learned.

In a press conference on 5 March, Nikolai Leshik, head of the main crop production department of the Belarusian Agriculture and Food Ministry, provided a look ahead on how crop areas would look like in Belarus in 2025, BelTA has learned.
