On 28 January, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko received a report from State Secretary of Belarus’ Security Council Aleksandr Volfovich. The head of state is personally overseeing the progress of the large-scale surprise combat readiness inspection of the Armed Forces, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko received detailed reports from Prime Minister Aleksandr Turchin and State Secretary of the Security Council Aleksandr Volfovich on 15 October, the press service of the Belarusian leader told BelTA.

Upon instructions of the president the State Secretariat of the Security Council has started a test of the Belarusian army’s combat readiness, representatives of the Defense Ministry told BelTA.
