Chairman of the Supreme Court of Belarus Andrei Shved has suggested developing an international agreement on legal assistance for all the BRICS member states and partner countries. Andrei Shved put forward the initiative at a BRICS forum of presidents of supreme courts in New Delhi, India, the press service of Belarus’ Supreme Court told BelTA.

A Belarusian delegation led by Chairman of the Supreme Court Andrei Shved is participating in the BRICS Chief Justices’ Forum in New Delhi, BelTA learned from the Supreme Court’s press service.

The BRICS countries identified five key areas for joint work at the 13th BRICS Education Ministers’ Meeting, which took place in Bhubaneswar, India. Following the meeting, a declaration was adopted reflecting the common priorities of the participating countries, according to the website of the Press and Information Bureau of India.

The 11th BRICS Culture Ministers’ Meeting was held in India. It concluded with the adoption of a declaration in which the parties agreed to develop cooperation in the field of restitution of cultural property, BelTA learned from the Culture Ministry of Belarus.

The BRICS Anniversary Week opened in Moscow on 15 June. A programme of cultural, educational and diplomatic events will be held at the BRICS+ Media Centre, reviewing two decades of the group’s work in both humanitarian and economic areas. The project is organised by the TV BRICS International Media Network and the M. I. Rudomino All-Russia State Library for Foreign Literature.

The TV BRICS International Media Network and the major multimedia project «Gateway to Russia» will cooperate in promoting the Russian language and culture abroad. On Russian Language Day (celebrated annually on 6 June, the birthday of Aleksander Pushkin), the partners announced plans to exchange information content, develop humanitarian and educational initiatives, and hold joint events aimed at enhancing language culture.

TV BRICS will present unique media materials about the traditions and achievements of Russian ballet to the international community.

The international scientific and practical conference for school students, «Start in Innovation», will celebrate its 25th anniversary in 2026, serving as a global platform for dialogue. This year, participants and experts from Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Mexico, Brazil, China, Egypt, Iran, the UAE and other countries will compete. For the second consecutive year, TV BRICS is the event’s international media partner.

Belarus is ready to become a full-fledged member of BRICS, Chairman of the Standing Commission on International Affairs of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus Sergei Rachkov said at the 1st meeting of the chairs of international affairs committees of the parliaments of BRICS nations titled «Strengthening BRICS trade in the current international situation» that was held during the 11th BRICS Parliamentary Forum in Brasília, BelTA has learned.
