Igor Brilevich, Deputy Chairperson of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus, has been appointed by Valentina Matviyenko, Chairperson of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly Council and Chairperson of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of Russia, to coordinate the international observer group from the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly for the elections to the Kurultai of Kazakhstan, the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly told BelTA.

Igor Brilevich has been elected Deputy Chairman of the Council of the Republic in secret ballot at a sitting of the fourth session of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the eighth convocation, BelTA has learned.
