The third meeting of the 7th Belarusian People’s Congress must be held at the highest organizational level, Belarusian Prime Minister Aleksandr Turchin said during a meeting of the organizing committee for the 7th Belarusian People’s Congress on 22 September, BelTA has learned.

The third session of the 7th Belarusian People’s Congress will be held in Minsk on 17-18 December 2026. This is set out in an order signed by Chairman of the Belarusian People’s Congress Aleksandr Lukashenko, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko sent a message to the participants of the 4th International Anti-Fascist Congress, the press service of the Belarusian leader told BelTA.

Twenty years ago, on 2-3 March 2006, Minsk hosted the 3rd Belarusian People’s Congress, which brought together 2,500 delegates, BelTA has learned.
