On behalf of the Belarusian people and himself, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated President Thongloun Sisoulith of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic and the people of Laos on the 50th anniversary of the country’s founding, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

The governments of Belarus and Laos have concluded a general agreement on the provision of export credits, which creates an additional instrument for increasing mutual trade. On behalf of Belarus, the document was signed by Belarusian First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Lukashevich during a working visit to Laos, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Belarus and Laos have agreed to waive visas for national passport holders, enhancing bilateral relations.
