Belarus’ Defense Minister Viktor Khrenin has met with Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif during the official visit to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, BelTA learned from the Defense Ministry of Belarus.

Belarus ratified an extradition treaty with Pakistan to enhance legal cooperation and facilitate the extradition of criminals.

Belarus urges India and Pakistan to cease fire and negotiate peacefully, supporting de-escalation and cooperation against terrorism.

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko spoke about plans to bring in migrant workers to Belarus, including from Pakistan, BelTA has learned. 

The level of relations between Pakistan and Belarus has never been so high before, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Mohammad Ishaq Dar told BelTA. He is taking part in the high-level talks as part of the Pakistani delegation that is on a visit to Belarus.
