A total of 1,713 passenger cars and 40 buses are waiting to enter Poland at the border crossings of Terespol (Brest), Bobrowniki (Berestovitsa), and Kuznica Bialostocka (Bruzgi), the State Border Committee of Belarus told BelTA. 

Since 1 January 2026, Belarus has welcomed 159,906 travelers from 38 countries included in the visa-waiver program. The majority of travelers came from Lithuania, Latvia and Poland, BelTA learned from the State Border Committee of Belarus. 

Around 1,800 passenger cars and 51 buses are waiting to enter Poland, the State Border Committee of Belarus told BelTA.

On 23 July, Belarus handed over to Poland information about a possible terrorist attack. Warsaw has yet to issue any coherent statements, but Polish media continue to discuss the story. Polish propaganda, for its part, is carefully framing the narrative. Allegedly, the person who plotted the attack is just a desperate man, and his threats to kill children are nothing more than emotions.

About 400 vehicles are waiting to enter the European Union, the State Border Committee of Belarus told BelTA.

A prisoner exchange operation based on a five-for-five formula is currently taking place at the state border between Belarus and Poland, BelTA reports from the scene.

The government has extended the ban on the import of certain goods across the Belarusian-Lithuanian section of the state border. Belarusian Prime Minister Aleksandr Turchin signed the relevant resolution on 30 March, BelTA learned from the government’s press service.
