More than 750 trucks are backed up at Belarus’ border to enter Poland, BelTA learned from the State Border Committee of Belarus.

More than 750 trucks are queued at the border checkpoints Bobrowniki (Berestovitsa on the Belarusian side) and Kukuryki (Kozlovichi). Despite the long queue, Polish services processed only 26% of the freight transport over the past 24 hours. Another 310 heavy vehicles are queuing at the border to enter Lithuania. The neighboring side cleared only 22% of the trucks relative to the norm.

The longest queue of passenger cars was reported at the border with Poland. Some 746 cars and 32 buses are waiting to enter Poland at the border checkpoints Terespol (Brest), Bobrowniki and Kuznica Bialostocka (Bruzgi). Over the past 24 hours, the neighboring side admitted 32% of the vehicles onto its territory. Another 30 passenger vehicles are waiting to enter Lithuania at Medininkai (Kamenny Log) border checkpoint.

«Yesterday, the Latvian side notified Belarusian border guards that as from 21.00 it fully resumed the clearance of freight and passenger vehicles at the Paternieki (Grigorovshchina) checkpoint,» the State Border Committee noted.
