Lukashenko: Belarus-Uzbekistan strategic partnership poised for further growth

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the people as the country celebrates the 35th anniversary of state independence, BelTA has learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.



«Over the past years, the country has achieved significant successes in strengthening its sovereignty. The sustainable social and economic development of the state, the rising prosperity of its citizens, and the country’s growing standing on the international stage all bear witness to the soundness and effectiveness of the political course you are charting,» the congratulatory message reads.

The Belarusian president expressed confidence that the unbreakable friendship and mutual trust between Minsk and Tashkent will continue to serve as a guarantee for the deepening and expansion of multifaceted Belarusian-Uzbek cooperation in the spirit of strategic partnership.

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Shavkat Mirziyoyev health, happiness, and new achievements in his responsible state post, and the people of Uzbekistan — peace and prosperity.
