The CIS Economic Council has approved a number of documents aimed at developing economic, transport, innovation, and humanitarian cooperation among the Commonwealth states. The decisions were made at the 111th session of the council in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan on 11 September, the press service of the CIS Executive Committee told BelTA.

The implementation of the head of state’s instructions on intensifying trade and economic cooperation with countries of the African continent was discussed in the Council of the Republic, BelTA has learned.
