From Hermitage gifts to legacy of ‘God’s hounds’: Inside Novogrudok’s historic church

Dating back over 400 years, the Roman Catholic Church of St. Archangel Michael in Novogrudok has been captured in paintings, survived 20th-century devastation, and been essentially rebuilt from the ground up. Today, it houses a wealth of historical treasures. The church’s rector, Father Yuri Zhegarin, shared the story of this remarkable place and its most significant artifacts with BelTA’s correspondent.
