One of the primary goals of the newly established Academy of Intellectual Technologies is to ensure the rapid adoption of new technologies, test them within the educational environment, and subsequently transfer them to traditional, comprehensive universities, Belarusian Minister of Communications and Informatization Kirill Zalessky said following a meeting with Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko on 4 August, BelTA has learned.

Training at the Academy of Intellectual Technologies will be available not only to school graduates but also to university students, university graduates, and even established scientists. Opportunities for admission to postgraduate and doctoral programs will also be provided for them at the institution, Vladimir Karanik, Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences, told reporters following a meeting with the Belarusian president to discuss the academy concept, BelTA has learned.

The Council of Ministers has updated the procedures for conducting legal expertise, public discussion, monitoring, and reviews in lawmaking. The corresponding resolution was signed by Prime Minister Aleksandr Turchin, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian government.

Education Minister Andrei Ivanets shared details about the future Academy of Intellectual Technologies as he talked to the media. The university of the future concept was discussed at a meeting with the head of state on 4 August, BelTA has learned.

About 22 kilometers of bridge structures were built and repaired in Belarus over the five-year period, Aleksei Fedoseyev, Head of the Design and Technology Department at the Mostostroi company, said in a new episode of BelTA’s The Nation Speaks project.
